Nice try, but it's Nara City. Back

Nara City is 400 km (249 miles) far from Nagareyama-city.

Approximatery, it takes 4 hours and 30 minutes by rail.

It was the Capital of Japan from A.D.710 to 784. Even after the capital was moved to Kyoto in 794, it was called the southern capital and prospered.

Nara has many places of scenic beauty and historical interest including Nara Park and Todaiji Temple, in which a large statue of Buddha is located. The city retains a serene classical atmosphere.
